These are comments from children whose Dad arranged a balloon flight from the garden of Au Compte, courtesy of Association "Entre Ciel et Terre" based in a nearby hamlet. It takes around 2 hours for the flight and you can have champagne either during or at the end of it. “This holiday has been such a fun-packed adventure. During our break in France our family has had so much fun!First of all, we went to a place called ‘Air Park’ where we went up into the trees with our harnesses and did a number of assault courses. It was really fun!Then, we went kayaking on the Dordogne and it really taught us about team effort.Lastly, Dad organised a surprise treat for us – he told us that a man was coming to our garden to set up a hot air balloon! It was amazing! You could see the wonderful view, everyone stopped to wave and it was so relaxing floating in the sky.Overall, I think this year’s holiday has been the best holiday EVER!“Melissa Fox age 13 August 2007“My holiday was really exciting as we went to ‘Air Park’ – a tree climbing place where you can climb but it’s really good because they let you do it yourself. Also, we went kayaking. It was really fun and we only got a bit wet!Then we went in a hot air balloon but instead of driving to a place somewhere, they came to the field at the back of the gîte. It was amazing to see from above!
